Description

W.O.W Radio has connected with a publishing company, called Opal Book Publishing, to seek an EDITING INTERN.

This intern will edit documents such as novel/poetry work of other Authors. They will have to be knowledgeable on how to correct punctuation and sentences, where/when to add/remove quotes, when/where to capitalize words, where/when to start and end paragraphs and sentences. Deadlines are very important in the internship.


Opal Book Publishing strives to help and give new and aspiring authors a chance to be heard literally through their writings. They are a provider of limited services of all work, which includes that of Editing, Publishing, Advertising, and Marketing!

Responsibilities

- edit documents such as novel/poetry work of other Authors which includes correcting grammar and punctuation

Requirements

- must meet strict deadlines
- moderate experience with Microsoft Word
- knowledgeable on correcting punctuation and sentences, where/when to add/remove quotes, when/where to capitalize words, where/when to start and end paragraphs and sentences

Skills

Required - Microsoft Word, Editing
Preferred - English grammar, English Composition
