DescriptionEDITORIAL & SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN
Forward-thinking, fast-paced company looking to hire an intern with strong knowledge and understanding of the English language as well as the digital media landscape, including various social media websites. Company is scaling up and will soon launch a major media campaign. The intern hired for this position will need strong critical thinking skills in order to integrate into our vibrant and passionate team. We are very excited to share this exciting growth with an intern hoping to gain a ton of great book publishing experience. Writing and editing skills are required.
• Contribute to new book projects in various ways
• Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks
• Online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Instagram LinkedIn, Twitter, and more
• Website and social media optimization
• Keyword analysis
• Work with authors directly
ResponsibilitiesResearch, reading manuscripts, writing press releases and working with authors.
Students applying for this internship should be Marketing/Business or Language majors, with experience on the Web and a solid understanding of youth markets. A love for books and reading is essential.
