SAGE has an opening for a part-time paid Editorial Intern, in the Thousand Oaks office
The editorial intern position is open to college students interested in learning about the publishing industry and college textbook publishing.

ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions & Responsibilities
Under the supervision of editorial staff, the editorial intern will conduct reviews of proposals and manuscript, consolidate reviews, provide support in preparing manuscripts for transmittal, request and document permissions, coordinate photo programs, conduct surveys, conduct benchmarking and market research, process check requests, attend editorial assistant and department meetings, train other interns, assist with development of digital products, and a variety of other administrative activities.
RequirementsEducation & Qualifications
Candidates should be enrolled in either undergraduate or graduate level courses and able to work up to 25 hours/week.
Language, Reasoning, Analytical, & Mathematical Skills
Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to work well both independently and with others, and have proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
