Description

Brain Food, a New York based digital publishing company is looking for aspiring, talented and motivated students. Let's fine tune your skills, and further your education in a working environment.

The library of assets primarily consists of:
Cookbooks / How to and DIY / Health & Fitness / etc...

Responsibilities

Students Seeking internships with interests in:
Writing / Editing
- Creating brief overviews of books (usually one to two paragraphs)
- Double checking book content for errors and proper formatting
Computer Graphics
- Creating and/or enhancing current book covers.
- Inserting artwork into books.
Digital Content
- Uploading assets to sights for purchase
- Combining art, words and descriptions into a final product

*** A mac computer is preferred, but not mandatory

Requirements

Creativity required, and mild Graphic Design experience necessary for the art and book covers responsibilities. Other related tasks are required to do along with this task (minor spreadsheet work to keep organized, uploading of product to database)
You will learn more than just graphics work. You will have hands on knowledge of how a digital publishing company operates from creation to editing to publishing to monetization.
