DescriptionCresa is a world wide commercial real estate firm. Our local Cary office is seeking a full or part time intern to assist with market research, marketing coordination, customer service, and office support.
We are a small office and our team is very fun and energetic. Senior brokers and marketing director will offer mentor-ship and learning experiences in the areas of: business, sales, entrepreneurship, business administration, business development, customer service, and building a client data base. Learn the overall business of commercial real estate from the ground up – understanding how to gather market data, research properties and businesses, how to market to buyers, sellers, investors, and tenants. Have an opportunity to shadow agents to understand the processes involved with transactions. Learn all CRE available resources and tools. Networking opportunities, meet other brokers, and great local business connection introductions. Learn sales and marketing techniques, entrepreneurship, business administration, business development, customer service, building a client data base, and more
The team of brokers in our office are VERY WELL connected in the Triangle and would provide support for intern in finding a full time job (after internship is completed (prefer at least a 6 mo. commitment)). Flexible days/hours (full or part time) Monday thru Friday.
This is a great opportunity to learn from some of the best business minds in the Triangle while gaining experience and vital introductions to other businesses and owners for potential future employment.

Responsibilities•Market research - Research on property info (parcel and property details, ownership, deeds, demographics, traffic counts, etc.), identify target markets, real estate market news, economics of business and real estate, current completed transactions, etc.
•Marketing - Prepare marketing packages (property tours, etc.), update listings online
•PR – assist in follow up calls to publications after we have submitted articles and press releases to help push company branding
•Admin support - Data entry, type letters, assist in answering phones, agent/office support/day to day business
Requirements- Desire to learn about the Commercial Real Estate business
- Intermediate skills and comfort level in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Positive, outgoing, motivated personality
- Seeks to find answers own their own before requesting assistance from others
- Dependable, self sufficient and motivated
- Pleasant and upbeat phone voice
- Understands that the customer always comes first
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Professional appearance/dress (business casual)
- Prefer a 6 month commitment
