ResponsibilitiesThe GIS Intern will be responsible for creating, updating and maintaining point-files for use in the company’s GIS system. This position will also involve spatial analysis related to one or more specific issues or topics. This is an entry-level position designed to carry out challenging tasks and develop technical skills related to real estate projects.
The GIS Intern will collaborate with the Real Estate team, with the guidance of the Market Research Manager, to successfully complete various initiatives and projects.
Requirements•In-depth knowledge of ESRI software.
•Significant experience with ArcGIS.
•An interest in Business Geographics, Applied Geography, and the use of GIS in business decision-making.
•Ability to work independently and finish projects on-time and without mistakes.
•Experience with MS Office (Especially Excel).
•A team-player with a persistently positive, winning attitude.
•Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
•An interest in malls, shopping centers, retail markets, and the apparel retailing business.
•Ability to create professional reports and succinctly summarize findings for the review of senior management.
•Professionalism and relentless attention to detail.
