DescriptionJob Objective: To quickly and efficiently qualify leads, evaluate their apartment needs, and deliver to them their perfect Chicago apartment; act as a client's “friend from Chicago.”
Summary: A Qualifying Agent will be in contact with leads via phone calls, emails, and text in order to learn more about their apartment search. Using this information, a qualifier will be able to curate a list of potential buildings for each lead and schedule the corresponding appointments for tours; the Qualifier’s goal is to help clients make an informed decision on which buildings to visit. The AptAmigo Qualifying Agent will then hand off the client to an AptAmigo Touring Agent, and continue communication with both the client and the touring agent for the remainder of the process.

ResponsibilitiesBe available during your scheduled times.
Respond to leads in timely manner via text, phone call or email.
Get to know each client and their apartment needs.
Fill out an in depth dossier unique to each client.
Send them a list of curated options unique to their needs.
Schedule tours/appointments at buildings the client would like to view.
Pass off dossier to touring agent.
Introduce client to touring agent, and stay in communication with both the client and touring agent before and after tours.
Gather feedback from touring agent.
Gather feedback from client as well as information regarding a signed lease.
If a lease is signed, continue to cultivate the relationship with the client through follow up emails.
Answering any follow up questions (e.g. recommending moving companies, reminder to check the buildings move-in requirements, “Happy Move-In Day” message, AptAmigo Review Survey at the 4 month mark, etc).
RequirementsMust be able to:
Be on call for lead intake from 11:30am-1:30pm, and 4:00pm-9:00pm
Have a mobile phone and laptop
Follow up with leads in a timely manner
Be charismatic and upbeat over the phone
Some sales experience is a plus
Extensive knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods
Organized, self motivated, and able to juggle many tasks
Diligent and determined when calling to schedule appointments
Comfortable communicating and staying firm on our exclusivity clause with leads
MUST be a people person
Experience in customer service is a plus
