The McCarty Company & SimmCo Inc. is looking for a hard working individual who has an interest in excelling in the Business of Commercial Real Estate. This role is an entry level, paid internship that focuses on assisting us with our core businesses of Permit Expediting, Wireless Site Acquisition and Project Management. An ideal candidate would be someone who is in their Junior or Senior year of their undergraduate degree, and is available to reliably assist us at least 20 hours per week and who is reasonably close to the San Fernando Valley.
$20/Hour to Start.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Team, learning the basics from the ground up on the different processes for expediting commercial real estate and the Site Development of Wireless Telecommunications.
Write, organize, update and manage business and tracking documentation.
Correspond via email and in-person with Clients and City Officials at a professional capacity.
Organize, carry and deliver Architectural Plans to clients and city officials.
Will be driving consistently from the San Fernando Valley to Downtown Los Angeles, and at times driving anywhere within the Southern California area.
Handle general, administrative office and filing work.
RequirementsMust be a self-starter and excel in a close, team oriented environment.
Must be pursuing or have completed their Bachelor Degree.
Must be Local to the General, San Fernando Valley Area in Los Angeles, California.
Must be available at least 20 hours a week and be somewhat flexible to on call requests.
Must have reliable transportation, be willing to drive in LA rush hour traffic.
Must be able to lift 50 pound Rolls of paper from ground and 30 pounds overhead.
Must possess Business Casual attire for office and City assignments.
Must have excellent communication skills in English, Additional Languages a plus.
Must have their own portable computer and smart phone.
Skills in Microsoft Office Applications strongly desired.
