DescriptionOur internship program provides the student with the opportunity to gain experience and a solid understanding of the commercial and residential rental real estate industry. The student contributes to all aspects of sales & marketing planning by applying their basic understanding of sales/market research, direct marketing, sales management, advertising, creative and production, media placement, and even public relations. The student also supports business development initiatives and helps with reporting and analytics. Channels include both commercial real estate and residential rental real estate. These channels are directed to the real estate property owner, primarily. However, there are ancillary industries touching real estate - accounting, property management, tax professionals (attorneys & others), real estate brokers, investors, contractors/builders, appraisers, and more.
The student will have the opportunity to work with, and facilitate the development of, many local and national clients in several exciting industries including restaurant, office buildings, mixed-use retail, multifamily, hospitality, and more.
The student should be seeking a degree in real estate, business, marketing, statistics, economics, or a similar field. MBA’s are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Social Media, Excel, Office 365, MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat is required. Strong writing, proper grammar, and proofreading skills are required. Integrity and the highest moral character are also required.
Our compensation program is what we call "mutually aligned interests." This means it is tied to performance. As an investor associate you are compensated based on results that are easily measurable. Everyone, including the CEO, is compensated based on results and not hyperbole, not "hopes and dreams" nor "I'm working hard and I don't understand why it isn't working." Responsibilities- Establish new client relationships using all platforms as currently established
- Facilitate new and aggressive growth of additional sales & marketing channels
- Participate in open projects with direct client and vendor interaction
- Facilitate social media interaction with sites such as Instagram, SnapChat and more
- Research and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials
- Collaborate with team members as needed
