Description


This is an exciting opportunity to learn first hand and obtain experience in branding and marketing an office from the ground up. The Ziegel Group, an established real estate brokerage firm, is currently seeking 2 interns to work with and help a licensed realtor and attorney in Sherman Oaks, CA to expand and build the company's office and marketing of its legal services, residential sales, leasing, and management divisions. You will review escrow documents, help the broker in obtaining prospects and work hand in hand with a broker, whom is also a licensed attorney, not an agent. You will obtain hands on negotiation and marketing skills. A minimum of 15 hours per week is required, yet the weekly schedule and work hours are flexible.

Responsibilities

Interns will be responsible for typical office procedures such as answering phones for broker and attorney, emailing, posting marketing and listings to Craigslist and additional marketing sites, preparing marketing materials, upon instruction preparing for review and emailing simple documents/contracts for digital signatures, communicate directly with residential prospects, homeowners, filing, maintain and deliver leasing files and various other office duties. Interns will also assist in marketing events, building our internet website, maintaining/building social media accounts, updating simple Excel inventory sheet and demonstrate an interest in helping to brand the business. Looking for an intern who can bring a creative flair to our marketing campaign, to both promote the properties in our inventory and expand our exposure and market share to this newly established office. Flexible but must be interested in pursuing a career in marketing or real estate.

Requirements


Requirements
-Candidates must commit to 15 hours per week (Flexible schedule). At least 1 semester, can be on going.
-Professional and friendly demeanor with strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
-Possess basic social media, Craigslist, Outlook skills
-Reliable transportation
-Sincere and creative interests in helping market, brand, and grow the business are huge advantage
-Some creative graphic design knowledge is desirable but not a must have
