The intern is responsible for supporting our Real Estate development, leasing and investment department. This position will assist in leasing documents, market research, financial analysis, reports and presentations. The Real Estate Intern will have the opportunity to gain exposure in real estate investment and development projects, including alternative investments of other industries.
The Real Estate Intern will have the opportunity to gain exposure to each function of the department.
Provide financial analysis, market viability studies, underwriting, and sensitivity analysis on all existing and proposed real estate & investment projects.
Provide planning, forecasting and analytical support on real estate & investment transactions to CFT staff, field personnel and executive management.
Work with Development to process and monitor market opportunities, including coordinating with Legal, Licensing, Operations and outside parties to complete all activities needed to close the transaction.
Perform Profit & Loss analysis/identification and problem resolution and reporting to team.
Develop and refine analysis templates to enhance presentation of department projects.
Under oversight of Leasing Manager and Leasing Associate, negotiates Leases and Letter of Intents (LOIs).
Assists the Leasing Manager in the preparation of packages for potential development opportunities.

RequirementsIn college with emphasis on Real Estate preferred.
Goo college standing required.
Willingness to leran residential and commercial real estate and transactions.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Strong internal and external customer service skills.
