DescriptionWe are Antoinette and Bruce and work with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services (Santa Monica office). Our Team name is Olive Realty. We have roughly 40 years of combined real estate experience and focus predominantly on the high end market in Santa Monica (North of Montana Ave).
We are currently looking for an intern for roughly 15-20 hours per week, and could lead to a paid position for the right candidate. This person will be working out of the Santa Monica office and assist us with all admin and marketing needs. This includes creating fliers, postcards, mailers, and other materials. Setting up reports in the MLS (Multiple Listing Service). Occasional assistance with open houses, and working together with our transaction coordinator during escrows. Some admin and marketing experience would be preferred as well as a general interest in the real estate industry. The hours are flexible at this point, pending availability.
ResponsibilitiesDay to day tasks include:
* Overseeing transaction paperwork (maintain communications with all parties involved in the transaction; escrow, title, transaction coordinator).
* Setting up reports in The MLS
* Create all marketing materials
* Assist during open houses (this is only an occasional need)
* Additional tasks as requested
RequirementsAs mentioned, marketing and administrative experience is preferred. Someone that can think on their feet, is proactive and does not need a lot of supervision (after the initial training). The candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with the use of Apple computers. The candidate would need to have an interest in the real estate industry and potentially be thinking about a career in real estate. Looking for someone that can grow with us (after 90 internship, we will hire the right candidate), and help build our team.
