Description is an unprecedented collaborative effort to consolidate in a single location as much sustainable related knowledge of products, practices, etc. that organizations, governments, citizens and others can implement to help make their businesses, cities, households and planet more sustainable.
The aim is for architects, hotel managers, fishermen, doctors, teachers, students, secretaries, bakers, automotive engineers, and a very long etc., to see quickly and easily what sustainable solutions they can implement as to maximize the positive environmental, social and economic impacts. has been developed by Sustainable Reference, an organization where we constantly ask ourselves: How can we create the biggest positive impact on this planet in the shortest amount of time. The goal of our startup is to help spread knowledge that will lead to a reduction of CO2 emissions, protect ecosystems, reduce waste, improve social conditions, to name just a few benefits.
We are an international organization (with offices in the USA, Spain, Costa Rica, Norway and India) creating software of great impact at a global level and that has been awarded with numerous recognitions including the Red Herring Award (previous winners: Google, Facebook, Ebay, Skype...).

You would be asked to reasearch, within one or more specific industrial sectors of your choosing (agriculture, fishing, manufacturing, beauty, fashion, healthcare, mining, hospitality/tourism, automotive, aerospace, construction, etc.), the sustainable practices, technologies, etc. that offer environmental, social and/or economic added value, when compared to traditional ways of doing things. You will share your findings (and receive full personal credit for it) by creating sustainable ´technological maps´ in the platform.

Economic compensation:
As an additional task to researching a particular sector(s), the intern will be encouraged to contact organizations within that sector and explore their interest in sponsoring the research that is being conducted in their field and get in return special exposure on the site.
This internship is paid only if the intern is able to successfully find such a sponsor(s).


- Having an interest (ideally a passion) in sustainability.
- Having an interest (ideally a passion) in at least least one particular subject matter/sector.
- Being good at researching information on the internet.
- Having solid communications skills.
- Caring about detail.
