Description

In this position you will prepare tuxedo orders, put cleaned tuxedos away. Sewing skills are a bonus to hem pants and sleeves. You will help clients to choose a tuxedo for their event. Size clients and assist in their fitting before the event to ensure the fit and quality of the tux. Keep store clean and organized. Change manikins to keep them wearing what the clients are looking for. During these tasks we will teach you about the fashion industry in tuxedos and weddings. You will have the opportunity to attend Rhode Island Wedding Group meetings which are held on Tuesdays. We help to provide the opportunity to network and to learn towards your career goals. You will help to put on various fashions shows and to market our events and store. We will teach you how to use various marketing tools such as Mail Chimp, Event Brite, and other social media.

Fun Job and needing for the summer months and early fall. Just Wednesday and Saturdays and everyother Tuesday.

Responsibilities

A typical day will include:
- Vacuuming, cleaning mirrors, and dusting
- Putting away dry cleaning
- Putting tuxedo orders together
- Attending client appointments: Helping our clients choose a tuxedo of their choice. We ask you to be talkative during this process.
- Posting to social media daily
- Dressing manikins and updating accessories

Requirements

- Mobility is preferred, we are accessible by public transportation.
- Must be extroverted.
- Motivated, willing and capable doing anything asked
- Independent
