Description

Mischief Management presents three premier conferences including GeekyCon (a fan based event for all things nerdy and geeky), LeakyCon (a Harry Potter-centric event) and BroadwayCon (the first conference for Broadway). Our events are popular, and populated! As our guests wait for special events such as opening and closing ceremonies or other programming, having someone to organize and monitor the traffic flow is critically important to the safety of our guests.

Responsibilities


· Duties include
● Research of vendors and compiling information for review
● Contacting vendors as scheduled and coordinating information flow
● Preparing Database to keep up to date, accurate records
● Other duties as assigned

We are seeking someone with knowledge of assisting at an administrative level in a retail oriented environment, but has the love of all things Geeky, with knowledge of the Broadway fan a plus.

Requirements

This position is ideal for those students who are seeking to work in retail and/or the events/conference field as it will offer hands on and practical experience at a fan-based conference.

A visit to a convention is not complete without a stroll through our incredible vendor room. We pride ourselves on having amazing vendors who present products that our guests will proudly wear, display or covet for years to come. We are seeking Vendor Coordinators to assist our Vendor Accounts Coordinator and Vendor Outreach Coordinator.
Ability to remain calm during stressful periods of time required.
