DescriptionPegi Burdick, The Financial Whisperer is looking for an account manager to help her grow her business through sales of the products she offers. You will work with Pegi and her PR contact in order to find and connect with account leads.
This paid internship would be roughly 20 hours a week. You would have the title of Account Manager.
How do we get people talking about emotions and money?
The Financial Whisperer's Mission: To help people to understand their emotional pain around money and then they can release the pattern of poor decisions and sabotaging behaviors that keep many broke, with a sinking feeling of helplessness around their finances.
ResponsibilitiesThe majority of this internship is cold calling businesses to sell The Financial Whisperer's services and products she has for sale. There may be a small amount of research involved in finding customers to sell to, but most of the calling information will be given to the account manager.
Whenever an account manager sells a product The Financial Whisperer offers (buying her book, signing up for workshops or a private session), the manager will receive a pay bonus.
Requirements*This is a virtual/remote position, but a person residing in Southern California would be preferred.*
*The candidate can also be a recent graduate (not a student)*
The preferred candidate has experience in sales, cold calling and closing deals over the phone.
A good, clear speaking voice
Non-cell phone line (land line or VoIP) with an answering service
Access to a computer with an internet service provider
The ability to not lose focus if the selling day has been "unproductive"
Written and speaking fluency in English
