Responsibilities

This position focuses on developing relationships with leading executives in the field of corporate Finance and Accounting.

Responsibilities

New business development - this is the top priority and most time intensive part of the position. A majority of your time will be spent developing new business. This
includes a combination of outbound prospecting phone calls and in person meetings with hiring managers. The goal is to identify companies with project needs in
their corporate Finance departments who are looking for external help to augment their existing team.

Relationship development – developing long-term client relationships with the CFO’s, Controllers and Finance Managers within local organizations is a critical function.
Adherence to a disciplined, consistent program of value added contact is a fundamental element of this role.

Matching/critical thinking skills - Match appropriate candidates to interim staff opportunities based on a thorough evaluation of the client need and pairing that
profile to the appropriate consultant/skill set.
Account Management - Nurture and grow existing clients to instill customer loyalty and to further develop an understanding of the right type of candidate for every
client.

Consultative Sales - Stay current on trends in technical accounting, software, business processes and strategies in corporate Finance to consult with clients on the best
person for each position. Encourage partnership with each client in mapping appropriate resources to projects or interim needs and identifying the proper consultant
for each situation.

Organization – A habit of regular planning, evaluation and execution are critical to success in this role. You will be expected to consistently develop call plans and
make analyses of your sales pipeline.
Extrovert nature - Talking to and meeting with dozens of new people every day is an integral part of this position. You must easily build rapport over the phone and
in person.

Requirements

Background
Minimum of 2+ years inside/outside sales experience with a company that has metrics related sales philosophy. Staffing industry sales experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong written communication skills- ability to construct thoughtful and impactful communication directed at prospects is required.
Strong verbal communication skills- ability to communicate clearly and appropriately over the phone and in person.
