DescriptionWe are a web-based investment platform that empowers investment advisors, portfolio managers and financial technology companies with Data Management and Data Visualization dashboards. Our product brings Big Data capabilities and cutting-edge technology to market segments who have traditionally made do with Microsoft Excel, manual analyses, and multiple legacy software systems.
Our team is small, close-knit and friendly, and we’re looking for a smart solutions seller who knows how to talk to B2B customers about data technology and complex software with multiple value propositions for different types of customers. This person should be drive, organized, and creative – a sharp thinker who will focus primarily on inside sales (phone, email, remote presentations) and helping to shape our sales operations going forward.
Responsibilities-- Cold call prospects based on lead lists provided to you, via phone and/or e-mail
-- Identify decision makers within targeted leads and begin sales process
-- Close business effectively and consistently on an ongoing basis
-- Track prospect engagements through the sales cycle
-- Provide regular activity reports to management at the Daily and Weekly levels
-- Set up and perform presentations, demos, or briefings as appropriate
-- Handle inbound web prospects and convert into sales
-- Coordinate customer trainings as appropriate
-- Support marketing efforts as appropriate, provide input on developing assets, collateral, etc to support sales
-- Track patterns, themes, and consistencies across customer profiles and sales processes
Requirements-- Ability to understand complex software products and business needs
-- Proven success in identifying and qualifying opportunities, planning and controlling calls, developing accounts, and time management
-- Energetic, goal-oriented nature
-- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn about software, financial technology, and investment management
-- Any experience in financial services, investment management, wealth management, or financial software is a major plus.
