The primary function of the Sales Representative is to generate revenue, by forecasting business and market needs, formulating and implementing sales strategies, exceed sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for sales and effectively presenting the key features and advantage of the company products to secure new business.
Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.
Build trust, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
Take part in events to market the products and services such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service.
Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements
Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share.
Develop a repeatable sales model, innovative proposals and deliver strategic sales presentations that ensures consistent success and revenue growth.
Responsible for daily cold calling appointment-setting with key decision makers.
Make no less than 50 cold calls of introduction to new prospects each week.
Create no less than 10 proposals each week.
Make no less than five presentations each week.
Support efforts to exceed sales goals, increase market share and improve customer satisfaction
Use a consultative sells approach and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers.
Adheres to all company policies, procedure and business ethics codes.
Develops annual business plan in conjunction with sales manager, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus the Representative on meeting or exceeding sales quota.
RequirementsRequired Skills/ Competencies
College Degree Preferred
2-5 Years of Sales Experience Preferred
Strong verbal, writing and presentation skills
Ability to communicate with associates and customers
Experience in cold calling and lead generation
Aggressive go-getter type personality.
