Ad and Sponsorship Sales Executive Shine On Hollywood magazine, an international Arts and Pop Culture Motivational Magazine is looking for highly motivated Ad and Sponsorship Sales Executive to sell advertising space to local and international businesses. The position is home based, commission structured; selling advertising and sponsorship space to local and international companies. Additionally, lead sources, training, and lead development assistance is available. Current representatives are working 20-30 hours/week, average estimated income of 40k + in the first year.
On Hollywood Magazine, the central Hollywood region’s premier arts and pop culture publication, seeks an Ad and Sponsorship Sales Executive. Full Time or Part Time Account Executive needed for fabulous entertainment magazine as we expand our team! The ideal candidate has a college degree, sales experience, is motivated and organized. An interest in the entertainment industry is ideal.
The position is home based or our office in Hollywood, commission structured; selling advertising and sponsorship space to local and international companies. Additionally, lead sources, training, and lead development assistance is available. Current representatives are working 20-30 hours/week, average estimated income of 40k + in the first year
Sales consist of 1/3, 2/3, full page and multiple pages ads; including the upcoming addition of a direct mail campaign and new sponsorship opportunities monthly, free e-magazine to local businesses to accompany our publication and general public.
Independent, ambitious individual who can build a network of leads to pursue and close.
Strong relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Able to sell numerous products to a singular customer by communicating a strong product message and finding the appropriate stakeholders for each product
Ample understanding of the digital media landscape and the methods it uses to earn revenue, with the ability to use this information to accurately explain specific product benefits.
Act as an intermediary between the field and the product management teams to incorporate new ideas for developments.
Able to project new business closures and revenue bookings through experience with pipeline management.
Assemble sales kits and promotional materials for client mailings and sales functions.
Create PowerPoint presentations and analyze data/Excel spreadsheets for sales team and/or Publisher.
Manage Client Database, responsible to process prospects and create database of client and public relations contacts, coordinate client contracts.
Interface with clients via phone, e-mail and in-person.
Marketing/PR, Media, or a related field; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
High level of proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proven ability to multi-task, and work under deadline pressure.
Strong organizational skills and detail-orientation.
Skilled in interpersonal communication (written and verbal) with proven ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism.
