DescriptionCharisma Events & Consulting, David’s Bridal Preferred Wedding Planner, is a full service event planning company that specializes in planning and executing weddings, quinceaneras, corporate events, and other special events. At the moment we serve southern California but we are in the process of opening a second branch in Dallas, TX.
We are looking to hire a Sales Associate Intern mid January 2014 (Major: Business Communication, Marketing, Sales). The Sales Associate internship is for CREDIT ONLY (with a potential commission incentive). The ideal candidate must have a genuine interest in sales and closing deals, possess strong customer service/phone skills, be outgoing, excellent in following up with clients, and strong writing skills. Experience in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Documents is a plus.
ResponsibilitiesHands on experience will include participating in all facets of sales-- cold calling, and attending networking events. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining a customer database to track calls and responses, and putting together sales packets for local organizations.
This position is 15-20 hours per week. You will be able to work from home most days. Must own a laptop, cell phone and have reliable transportation.
