Description

We are looking for someone who can work full time at our office.

We are currently searching for an independent sales associates who are interested in growing a paid user base and increase the sales for the company with an innovative cloud based mobile platform to automate business development and event management activities for any organization. They will be expected to create opportunities with event organizers, mid-large size companies, large chamber of commerce, professional membership organizations, business owners, entrepreneurs, respond to user’s inquiries, reach out to application users with additional information, and manage leads.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with President and CEO of the company to build a market intelligence plan that identifies important trends and decision-makers in target market sectors within (PA, NJ, NY, DE) area.
Assist with market analysis and research for each market segment being targeted
Research and identify future projects and actively follow their progress
Develop a thorough knowledge of the product, business profiles, and strategies
Assist in development and maintaining tracking client activities/opportunities and reporting
Set up and attend meetings and/or make introductions for appropriate firm leaders to meet with key clients and decision makers among various commercial clients
Attend professional meetings and other business development related events as appropriate
Actively pursue, build and maintain strong lasting relationships in the industry and community to generate and enhance business opportunities
Keep current on trends by attending appropriate seminars, reading published information and through participation in professional organizations
Requirements:

Experience in the IT Software industry (Emphasis on business development highly desirable)
Excellent organization and communication skills including writing and oral presentations
Successful candidates must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that demands a high level of commitment to one’s own continuous growth and development. Senior level students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Sales/Marketing areas
Experience with contact relationship management software
Previous experience in Computer Science, MIS, Marketing or Sales highly desired
Some travel will be required
Compensation Level:
This position is Paid on salary of hourly basis.
