The Sales Intern will potentially work on these projects, either a few or many: develop business by attending networking events to promote products or services; study, enhance, and improve the sales process to shorten the sales cycle; maintain or create a database so that we can communicate with perspective clients and deepen relationships; offer and schedule consultations; follow up to find out customer satisfaction.
We place a strong value on team-building and mentorship. You will work with the CEO and will have high-level skills and responsibilities to add to your resume. The successful intern will receive a letter of recommendation. Everything you create (that is not confidential) can go in to your professional portfolio. We will gladly help you arrange for academic credit. You will have first-hand knowledge of how to market your services as a freelancer.
Passion, enthusiasm, and excitement for the company and the product are most important! You have excellent writing and communication skills (previous sales or marketing experience is a plus). You must be proficient with technology – email, internet, MS Office, be willing to learn user-friendly software, have your own computer, phone and transportation for networking events. Important to be reliable, punctual, and able to attend a phone meeting once a week.
