DescriptionSweat Equity Connection, Inc. is a private early stage company focused on stimulating job creation primarily in entrepreneurial, startup companies just like us. We are developing the world’s first online marketplace for the exchange of sweat equity compensation opportunities between early stage founders in search of management executives and project service providers with some of the brightest, entrepreneurial minded talent in today’s job market. We help facilitate these matches on our website (www.sweatequityconnection.com) through our proprietary Talent Match Technology (TMT). Through the design of special algorithms, we are not only able to match traditional employment characteristics such as educational degrees, work background and industry experience, but align entrepreneurial and company culture compatibilities.
ResponsibilitiesWe recently launched the beta version of our website. We are in the process of reaching out to two channels that represent our largest source revenue for our company. The first are early stage companies in search of talent to join their teams and willing to offer some portion of equity in their companies as a piece of the compensation packages. The second group are candidates seeking employment in entrepreneurial, early stage firms who have expressed a willingness to take some form of equity in these companies in place of some percentage of cash compensation.
As a member of our sales and marketing team, we are looking for an intern who would be interested in being a part of this sales effort to connect with early stage company founders and candidates seeking employment. Contact could take the form of emails, on line networking, and phone contact. You would be given a quota of contacts to reach either daily, weekly or monthly depending on the time commitment you can make.
For the intern who excels in this role, we could see this leading to full time employment with our young company. Our initial plan is to establish our presence in North America, but we are already in discussions with individuals to represent us in both Europe and the Far East.
