Position Description: Applicants that are selected for this program will undergo an intense training program that prepares them for a professional career and possible position on Aflac’s Management team. This comprehensive training includes online classes, classroom time, hands-on office & field training. Successful candidates will be offered full time positions.

Responsibilities

Internship Responsibilities: 15 or 20 hours per week flexible scheduling, (summer program 20 or 30 hrs). Students are encouraged to seek 3 – 6 credits for this 1 or 2 semester program. 13 week program.

Program is broken down into 3 distinct segments:

1/3 Classroom Training and Certification
Insurance licensing Professional certification (required to earn income)
Tax code certification
Enrollment certification
Professional development seminars
Strategic marketing training
Master “top down” selling

1/3 Field Training and Observation
Tradeshows and business fairs
Witness meetings with top professionals (CEO’s, CFO’s, Controllers, CPA’s, HR vp)
Working with and assisting Aflac’s top associates and managers
Observe strategic marketing and development interaction
Participate in company and employee enrollments
Incentives (if income opportunity elected)
Lucrative commissions and renewal bonuses

Requirements

A qualified candidate should be friendly, outgoing, self-motivated with a desire for success, a deep belief in one’s self, the desire to control their own destiny, and their willingness to lay it all on line in pursuit of unlimited gain and fulfillment. Good verbal skills are required. Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
