DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Working in fast paced Sales and Catering Department, intern will be training in all aspects of the sales and catering process, from the initial sales call through the planning stages to the actual event. The intern will answer phones, work with the sales and catering contact management/calendar computer system, handle paper flow, have contact with clients, perform general office duties, and if interested, work events.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Interested candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
•Must be results oriented with the ability to prioritize, and must be very organized. Must have proven leadership skills and be able to make decisions. Excellent organization and communication skills, refined telephone manner, and impeccable customer service skills required. Proven ability to work with sales staff, clients, vendors, other departments, and individuals to sell and coordinate all details of events
•Proficient computer knowledge in Delphi, Market Vision, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and web mining
