DescriptionFINNtern Title: Retail Account Outreach FINNtern. 4 month Internship, with option to extend to 8 months.

FINNEGANS was the first beer in the world to donate 100 percent of its profits to feeding the hungry and is the 2nd longest running enterprise of this structure next to Newman’s Own in the country. FINNEGANS’ mission is turning beer into food. We focus on funding fresh local produce for those in need. FINNEGANS has plans to create further impact not only MN but WI, ND, SD and IA.
ResponsibilitiesRetail Account Recognition & Engagement: Build business relationships and strengthen FINNEGANS mission and call to action in the community.
Account outreach, recognition and engagement through mailings, calls and visits
Engage retail staff through Staff Trainings.
Build relationships with account staff, also collect contact information.
Report on impact made through these activities.
Retail Branding Support: Expand on your eye for good brand representation and build FINNEGANS presence in the market
FINNEGANS and branding best practice training provided.
Prep and keep up Posters and print materials for delivery. These are to cover promotions, samplings, and ongoing beer sales
Work with FINNEGANS Team to distribute materials. This may be doing deliveries yourself but most importantly managing deliveries via FINN200s and Samplers.
Spot check accounts to analyze retail sales presence, create action items and innovations to improve messaging, brand awareness and account engagement.
Off Premise Samplings
Share FINNEGANS brews, mission and story with consumers at retail store samplings. 4 to be done monthly.
Other duties as needed
All Commissions are paid out by the second week of month after activities are done. Mileage for all approved logged visits are reimbursed monthly as well.
Visits monthly will be a minimum of 10 non-buying, 20 buying minimum.
Payment for New Placement gained.
Payment for when current accounts visited grow by at least 1 keg, compared to previous 2 months average or first month’s purchases.
Payment for per month when minimum visits are logged, with notes and any contacts collected, weekly (by 8pm Sunday night).
4 On-premise samplings monthly, as a way to support account sales and build relationships.
Mileage is reimbursed based on logged visits, in addition to commission above.
