Description

Undergrads and recent graduate interns (over 21 only need apply) at Western Son Distillery are presented with a unique opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of the beverage industry in the United States. They gain real world experience, exposure to Western Son Distillery operations, and have the opportunity to participate as a member of the sales team. The Western Son Distillery will offer valuable training in the following fields:

1. Sales Techniques / Sales Management
2 Distributor Network (3 Tier System)
a) Off Premise
b) On Premise
3. Marketing
a) Special Projects
4. Merchandising
5. Operations
6. Distillation

Our paid internships are offered 2 times a year for undergrads and/or recent graduates. Our comprehensive 16 week program is a 12-24 hour per week commitment based out of North Texas.

Undergraduate interns benefit from learning beyond the classroom when they gain hands-on experience with an adult beverage company. Thank you for your interest in Western Son Distillery where you have the opportunity to learn the beverage business.

Responsibilities

After initial training, responsibilities include:
* Customer interaction
* Promoting the products at special events / functions

Requirements

* Out-going personality
* 21 years of age or older
* Valid, unrestricted state driver's license and good DMV record
* Reliable transportation is a must
* Ability to work Saturdays and special events/functions.
* Required to lift and move 50-pound case of product
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Self-starter with good problem solving skills and follow up.
