We recently launched a new sensor/software system and are expanding our business development efforts nationwide. That said, we are looking for candidates who are passionate about sports and technology, and seeking to gain deep experience and contacts in the industry as they market our new system to various sports teams.
We are based in Miami with a satellite office in Fremont, CA, but all candidates can be trained virtually and a location near to us is NOT required. With our national expansion, hired candidates will be assigned specific metro U.S. areas (e.g. Boston, Atlanta, etc.) to build relationships with sports teams and introduce them to our new system. Our target clients range from professional to high school teams for all men's and women's sports.
ResponsibilitiesThrough the interview process, prove that you have the skills to conduct business development and the strong character (organizational skills) to handle one or more U.S. metro areas on your own.
Once hired, you will be responsible for generating sales in your assigned metro area(s) through email, telephone and webinars. You will NOT be required to travel or be located near your assigned metro area(s). In the beginning, your responsibility will be to contact various sports teams, describe our new system and generate qualified leads that you will hand over to the head of business development who will then convert your lead into a sale. After a successful period of generating leads, you will then be responsible for the complete sales cycle.
There are commissions on each sale you generate from day one, with potential to develop into a full-time position. As you progress in the sales role, your duties can expand to other areas of the company as the need arises and you express your desire to take on additional/new roles.
