Description

If you're passionate about entrepreneurship and sales, then you're the right candidate for this position. We're seeking interns who can work on business development as well as community management at our vibrant Wicker Park coworking, meeting and event space. Your job will be to help promote, market and develop new business and keep our growing community humming. Free Range Office is a destination for clients ranging from independent contractors looking for workspace to families throwing events to corporations seeking meeting space.

Responsibilities

- Generate leads through regular sales & marketing activities including all the PR activities, social media and digital marketing campaigns
- Manage members needs and assist with events, operations and programming at the space
- Follow up with prospects, tours and inquiries
- Provide research on potential and existing clients and the competitive landscape
- Assist in identifying potential business opportunities
- Monitor news and developments relating to, or impacting, key clients/prospects

Requirements

- Sales experience – successful track record of prospecting, developing and closing sales through cold calling/e-mailing/prospecting is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Creative and detailed people-person
- Ability to communicate with all level of internal and external clients by phone, email and face to face
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- A positive attitude with good organizational, presentation and writing skills
