Our client is a digital marketing agency that is passionate about Internet marketing. They love generating leads and sales; they love to design beautiful websites; they love to develop functional websites. They are an accomplished team of Search engine optimization specialists, online marketers, programmers, writers, designers and of course, developers.
Account Managers act as the main point of contact for a subset of our clients. You are responsible for communicating with clients, keeping projects on time and within budget, and identifying upsell opportunities within your client list. An average day includes communicating with clients and internal staff including web designers, developers, marketers, and our sales team. As a result, exceptional writing and communication skills are a requirement for this position. The ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects at the same time is crucial.
In this role, you will manage the deployment of new clients. This includes managing the website design process to ensure that the client is proud of the outcome. You will also act as the point person for ongoing marketing campaigns implemented by our marketing services team. As you develop strong relationships with our clients and they grow to trust and rely on you, a virtuous cycle is established. We are looking for someone with experience cultivating strong client relationships.
•Knowledge of web design, online marketing, and website construction are required.
•Knowledge of information technologies and technology best practices also a plus.
•Advanced programming or technology implementation skills are not required.
•Experience in online marketing including search engine, pay per click, and/or email marketing is a major plus.
•Successful candidates will also understand website design best practices and strategies.
•The ideal candidate will not only have strong technical skills, but also demonstrate superior client interaction and time management capabilities.
•Develop and implement inbound marketing strategies for promoting client websites and products, converting website visitors into leads, and building digital brands.
•Develop strategies for increasing client website traffic
•Develop strategies for increasing client conversions and revenue
•Communicate value of current campaigns and recommended strategies to clients in a concise and effective anner
•Conduct research to continually identify client strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
•Conduct research to continually learn new techniques, trends, and best practices in the digital / inbound marketing field
•Implement and oversee implementation of client strategies
•Provide necessary reporting and analysis to support internet marketing efforts
•Continually improve internal processes for account management and strategy implementation
•0-3+ years of website project management
•Experience with marketing campaigns
•Have knowledge and interest in search engine algorithms and SEO best practices
•Are familiar with the term "inbound marketing"
•Are familiar Google AdWords and Google Analytics
•Are interested in website reporting, analytics, and insights
•Enjoy learning about a variety of businesses and how they market their products and services
•Enjoy creating written content for a variety of marketing channels (websites, blogs, social media, etc.)
•Have excellent spoken and written English
•Have a thirst for learning
•Have a collaborative spirit and can work well in small teams or go solo if the need arises
•Have some knowledge of HTML/CSS
The successful candidate is highly detail oriented and has some experience managing technology and marketing projects. You should have experience interacting with clients and effectively communicating with several parties to achieve results. Experience managing the design and development of websites and online marketing campaigns is highly desired. You should be used to managing the web design process for several websites simultaneously.
