A key member of our team is the Digital Media Assistant, which is part of Ranker’s Digital Media Career Development program. DMAs handle responsibilities ranging from sales support and ad ops to social marketing and audience analysis. You develop the latest cross-functional skills, helping Ranker thrive in this constantly changing media landscape and helping you zero in on your areas of greatest strength and interest.

We will train you in any areas where you don’t have experience, but you have to have an aptitude and an interest in getting into online sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:
Help brainstorm and test new monetization units.
Produce sales decks and other powerpoint presentations.
Run reports on ad inventory and campaign performance.
Monitor and optimize our inventory yield.
Help manage social marketing campaigns in support of ad campaigns.
Pull numbers for regular weekly/monthly marketing reports, as well as ad hoc requests.

Requirements

Qualifications include:
Sick spreadsheet skills; you play Excel like Jack White plays the guitar.
Strong powerpoint skills.
Design/photoshop skills a big plus.
A truly analytic mind; you love to dive into numbers and come out with compelling stories and insights.
Insane attention to detail. You’re meticulous and don’t hit the Send or Publish button until you’ve double-checked everything.
Ridiculous energy level to power you through all the work we’ll throw your way.
Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
Systems geek. You never met a dashboard or reporting tool you couldn’t master.
Social chops. The more active you are in organic and paid social media, the better.
Bonus points if you’ve used DFP or other ad-servers before.
