K12ology is software product company building solutions for the K-12 space. We are an early stage start-up with extensive experience in the K-12 education space. K12ology's comprehensive suite of software solutions includes K-12 Budget Builder, K-12 Trainer, K-12 Student DataBlocs, K-12 Dashboards among other offerings. K12ology's products are cloud enabled SaaS offerings. K12ology partners include EduPoint Synergy and Epiance EpliPlex500.

Responsibilities

The Inside Sales Intern opportunity is perfect for a candidate who wants to learn the ropes of an inside sales position. When you intern at K12ology, you're taking the first step in applying your knowledge, skills, and abilities with the guidance from seasoned professionals.

Work closely with the Director of Sales and other key team members to ensure you gain a good perspective of the inside sales role, experience and results
• Prospecting and lead generation will be the primary focus of this role
• You will be required to learn and become versed in all our solutions
• Actively calling leads and researching prospects and lead qualification
• Monitoring of sales campaigns
• Coordinate online demonstration on behalf of the Sales Account Executive
• Provide information to educate customers about our solution benefits and product functionality
• Maintain detailed documentation account activities in company CRM (Zoho)
• Contact customers to follow up on initial interaction
• Utilizing Zoho, record customer details including reaction, contact information, follow-up needs
• Help the Sales Account Executive with scheduling of meetings and other sales initiatives
• Secure customer participation in user conference, webinars, and K12ology University programs

Requirements

• The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A professional yet friendly customer service attitude
• A conscientious, highly motivated self-starter, who is detailed-oriented
• A strategic thinker and possesses effective time management skills that focus on long-term success
• Junior undergraduate student majoring in Business, Marketing, Communications or Advertising
• Must be able to work remotely or in office in Fairfax, VA
