Description

The YBS Benefits Insurance Sales Agent Internship offers college students real-world experience in business management, communication and sales. The position provides the opportunity for students to build their careers in the same way our independent-contractor agents do.

All Insurance Sales Agent Interns are supported by the YBS Benefits team, training programs and mentoring. They also are given access to the resources agents use to understand customers’ needs and provide insurance solutions that help families protect their financial security and prepare for retirement.

Responsibilities

Weeks 1–3: Orientation, product and sales training, job shadowing
Weeks 4–10: Field sales with a mentor, Intern Sales Competition
We will be giving stipend, bonus, and incentives

Requirements

Internship Track:
The Insurance Sales Agent Internship is a summer opportunity from February, 2015, with support and guidance from our office,
Interns are responsible for obtaining a life and health license according to state requirements and becoming appointed with Our Carriers as an independent contractor by May 29, 2015.
