FTI has multiple internship openings for the following position in Plainfield, NJ.

Role Description:
FTI is expanding our Inside Sales / Business Development team. We are currently searching for sales intern candidates who be trained to identify and pre-qualify opportunities for IT consulting and solution projects in existing and new accounts, help coordinate with FTI Client Partners and Account Managers to get them engaged for sales pursuit, and nurture relationships with prospects from initial lead generation to formal handoff. This is an important and highly rewarding intern position, with the responsibility of learning to hunt new opportunities for the company.

Responsibilities

The average day will include:

40-60 calls looking for leads.
Scheduling and facilitating conference calls and/or on-site meetings for Client Partners/Account Managers with prospects.
Cold calling will be a significant portion of this job and will require analysis of your target market to identify the best prospects, as well as collaboration with Client Partners and Account Managers to identify targeted accounts.
Follow-up calls to support marketing campaigns, including webinars, pre and post show support at tradeshows, and other demand generation initiatives.

Requirements

This role requires the following skillset:

A tenacious, energetic, positive and investigative spirit, combined with a highly professional phone presence.
An ability to build trust and scalable relationships with a C-Level audience (CIO, CTO, CFO,) VP's and Director level resources, as well as their direct reports.
A talent to investigate and navigate through various levels of management and departments within an organization.
An interest with business technology services, solutions, and/or management consulting.
Will be trained on data entry into CRM systems like Salesforce.com.
