DescriptionJoin Affectly and learn how to be effective at driving leads for a small sales team. We need someone to do real work, not pick up coffee. You will be tasked with being the first point of contact for new organizations we would like to target to join our platform. You'll work primary on the phone and via email to excite interest in new customers and schedule meetings/demos for our sales team. We will teach you how sell like a human speaking to another human, how to listen for the problems people face, describe the benefits of a product, and leverage empathy to make personal connections. We are looking for someone that can grow with us.

Nonprofits use Affectly to deepen supporter engagement and increase online fundraising through the science of good deeds. Our platform saves time, increase ROI, and drives new donors to causes. Affectly is building the first artificial intelligence platform for giving.
ResponsibilitiesWe will provide a list of target organizations we would like you to target via the phone and/or email. You'll be expected to find the best contact person at the organizations and reach out to them to schedule demos/meetings for our sales team. During a full day, you'll be expected to make 40+ calls/outreaches and maintain a pipeline of your targets with detailed information on your conversations. You'll coordinate with our sales team, learn new technology, provide input on our marketing materials and how we describe the product. In time we'd expect you to work on your own with little oversight, discover your own targets and processes for growing leads for Affectly.
RequirementsComfortable on the phone
Proactive - the ability to work on your own and come up with creative approaches to solve problems.
Listening skills - comfortable listening more than speaking
An interest in philanthropy, start-ups, and data science is a bonus but not required.
