Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing Responsibilities:
- Contact Potential Clients & Schedule them for appointments
- Contact Existing Clients & Schedule them for appointments
- Canvass local businesses to set up appointments
- Follow Up Through Use of Phone, Email, Social Media &/or Text
- Educate Clients on the Basics of Employee Benefits & Insurance Solutions
- Take Part & Observe in business owner meetings and closings of new accounts
- Take Part & Observe in client enrollments for both new and existing accounts

Sales Management Specific – Areas of Focus & Training:
- Review Resumes for Qualities & Characteristics That Match MWE Hiring Criteria
- Contact Potential Candidates & Schedule Them for Interviews
- Follow Up Through Use of Phone, Email, Social Media &/or Text
- Educate Career Candidates & New Hires on the Basics of Employee Benefits & Insurance Solutions
- Take Part & Observe in the Hiring & Training of New Career Sales Professionals
- Take Part & Help to Develop New Training’s for New Career Sales Professionals

Requirements

Minimum Internship Requirements:
- Undergraduate: Sophomore – Senior Years | Minimum 10 hrs. Per Week
- Postgraduate: Case-by-Case Basis
- Ability To Use Microsoft Office Programs Including; Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Ability to use basic Email Programs Gmail, Outlook, Verizon, etc. As well as Internet searches on Google, Bing, Yahoo

Paid Internship Requirements:
- Must Obtain State Required & Regulated Professional Insurance License
- Upon Completion of State Licensing; Must Become Appointed With The Insurance Carriers MWE Represents
