DescriptionLashley Ventures is seeking a part time summer intern to join our office team. Lashley Ventures is a rapidly growing startup located in San Marcos, TX that owns and manages a film production brand called University Film Productions (UFP). UFP provides high quality film services for brides, business, and brands across Texas. As an intern with Lashley Ventures you will be given the responsibility of converting inbound leads into customers, managing customer accounts, scheduling our film crew to render services, and following up with clients after the films have been delivered. This is not your average internship! If you are looking for a slow-paced internship that requires you to make copies and send faxes this is not the internship for you! The tasks that will be assigned to you are integral to the success of the business and you will be actively involved in a rapidly growing startup company. This will likely be the most challenging job you have ever held!
This internship is an ideal fit for a current student seeking experience in direct selling, team management, and business development. Applicants must be willing and available to be in our office for 3 hours per day, 3 days per week. Applicants must also be comfortable driving around the Austin/San Antonio area to meet with team members and potential clients.
Our customers vary from business executives working with Nasa, Starbucks, and Chevvron all the way to small town Brides and Families. Due to our wide range of customers applicants must have stellar communication skills, they must be exceptionally self aware, as well as be very self confident.
ResponsibilitiesDay to day actives include but are not limited to:
-Replying to all inbound leads and answering any questions from potential clients
-Building Proposals and negotiating with potential clients
-Closing sales and creating client accounts
-Client account follow up
-Film Crew Scheduling
-Team Member account management
-Finding new ways to grow and scale the business.
