Our business model is to provide economically bargained value for consumers, while increasing sales and utilization for suppliers. We are applying this paradigm to connect group of customers with the suppliers (restaurateurs) offering significant rewards for improved utilization in an innovative unique way.

Responsibilities

As a Sales and Business Development Intern, you will help us with your ideas to grow our business footprint, participate in the launch during fall and help evolve our business model and strategy

Responsibilities and Opportunities include:
- Application and analysis gathering operational details of restaurants – demographic data, customer profile, how they leverage marketing to promote business.
Learning:
o How to gather and analyze data
o Produce Analytics to help with business decision making.

- Co-develop and implement go-to-market and sales plan - to go from idea validation to alpha to beta
Learning:
o Research and perform local market analysis, and identify potential markets and restaurant types for entry
o Differentiate candidates for initial beta launch versus those for full rollout.
o Meet with businesses face-to-face (direct approach) to develop a business relationship.
o Meet with consumer groups face-to-face (direct approach)
o Creating presentations and reports

Other Learning:
- Working in a start-up environment, and being able to multitask and adjust based on priorities
- Working in a team-oriented environment, learning from others and contributing to the overall performance of the team
- Building and refining verbal and written communication skills; analytical skills
- Understanding of how to perform market research and analysis
- Getting to know how to effectively use MS Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Requirements

Qualifications:
- Passion to work in a start-up environment, to learn and contribute
- Willing to meet businesses onsite and gather critical information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; analytical skills
- Coursework or knowledge of business development and sales strategies
- Understanding of how to perform market research and analysis
- Ability to effectively use MS Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) or similar
- Any previous sales experience or exposure to local markets or retail (highly valuable but not required).
