DescriptionHigh Quality Tours is a boutique tour operator based in New York City. We specialize in providing top notch, first class luxury sightseeing tours in New York City. Our goal is to exceed the clients’ expectations by providing a total VIP experience on our tours. From the moment of boarding, clients travel in absolute comfort on our luxurious and unique transportation that is equipped with triple cushioned leather seats, parquet floors and state of the art technology. Our Professional Licensed Tour guides provide outstanding services, beyond what New York has to offer. This kind of service is new and exclusive.
We have daily scheduled tours but our core business is the personalized private luxury tours. Our private tours are completely customized to the size and interests of the group.
We are looking for a self motivated individual to assist us in business to business sales, building relationships and helping to get the word out about our services to other businesses in hope they may like to offer our services to their clients or guests.
Through your sales progress you will have the potential of earning a commission for your hard work. There is no specific time duration, this can turn into a full time position and candidate can start as soon as they are available.
ResponsibilitiesIn this position you will be responsible for contacting new organizations or companies each day. Whether it be face to face, over the phone or through email our ideal candidate must be persistent in getting our information out there to potential partner companies. In business to business sales we need to be persistent in helping companies or finding new connections to sell our tours to their clients and guests. You are responsible for doing the research to find new leads, contacting them and keeping up with them. This is a great opportunity to grow not only your sales skills but business and negotiation skills as well. depending upon you time constants you will be responsible for making weekly progress reports ans well as coming into the office to make your phone calls and do research.
Strong attention to detail
Must be comfortable building professional contacts and be persistent in contacting them
Strong oral and written communication skills; phone, email and face to face sals are nessesary.
1-2 years in similar role
Strong technical and analytical mind
Ability to interpret technical information
Self motivated with excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a team or autonomously
Ability to work on projects alone and travel from company to company in the city as needed
Bilingual is a plus but not necessary
