We are looking for a high-energy person to work with our SVP of Sales and Marketing to learn how to research new accounts and pursue prospective partnerships. You will learn sales strategies as you make supervised cold calls to potential accounts that might be interested in carrying the Little Pim program.
Sales Intern Responsibilities:
- Looking up the contact information for potential new accounts
- Making introductory calls to see if there is interest
- Supporting the sales department as needed
- Excellent phone demeanor: confident, respectful, and empathetic
- Resilient and not easily discouraged
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Active listening skills
Working in an open office, you will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a small business and gain sales experience as you work directly with our senior sales staff. We work hard, but also embrace fun. Our aim is to spark inspiration in one another, remove obstacles to achieving our goals, and encourage exploration to help each other grow as the company grows! We each bring unique skills to the table, but share essential qualities: we are hardworking, fun-loving, self-starting, supportive, responsible, dedicated, creative problem solvers.
We are happy to provide school credit, and are looking for a candidate that can commit two or three days per week to work out of our office in Union Square. Currently-enrolled students are preferred. Please only apply if you are located in the New York City area and include a cover letter and resume as attachments. Please include any previous language experience in these materials.
