DescriptionQue Belle Event Production and Marketing is looking for a qualified intern to join our Event/Marketing Sales team. Our Event Production department produces quality events for major companies in the Miami area, and seeks an intern who can assist with new client acquisition.
This position is non-salary however for each materialized event a commission of 10% will be provided once the event has taken place. Each new marketing client acquired will also receive a commission of 5% based on the framework of services we will be providing to the client.
Responsibilities Assisting with special events sales process
Observing client intake and event logistics
Assisting in on-site event execution to include set up, break-down
Assisting with the development and maintenance of mailing, media and guests lists
Assisting with answering phones and transferring calls to appropriate staff
RequirementsCompany is looking for an undergraduate student in the Miami area who is majoring in Sales and/or Marketing. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, Strong interpersonal skills, Basic computer processing skills including Microsoft Office and Internet, Interest in Special Events and/or Hospitality Industry.
College coursework or comparable work experience, Previous internship experience is preferred.
Preference will be given to college juniors and seniors and those seeking academic credit
