A research position that is perfect for college students to work on a part time or full time basis. Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Sales Prospector is responsible for sourcing target accounts and contact information to support the business development activities of sales representatives. This research will involve the use of industry databases, general internet corporate research, corporate prospecting tools and social media. IF PROFICIENCY IS PROVED, MAY WORK FROM HOME/SCHOOL and come into office once a week.
• Base hourly pay commensurate with aptitude or experience
• Performance bonuses that should triple or quadruple the total compensation
Responsibilities- Use internet and appropriate prospecting software to identify target companies and leads for sales efforts. This will involve a lot of digging and following a data trail so the ideal candidate will have a keen interest in scouring the internet and especially social media sites to find relevant information
- Research and document corporate structure, profile information, relevant current news, contact details and other items of interest to better inform our sales team
- Document results in a clear, consistent fashion in our sales software
