The business development position is an office-based position that is responsible for finding new potential customers and providing our regional sales managers viable companies and contacts to engage with that have a need for our products and services. This is a hunter position and requires the ability to work at an extremely fast pace and delivery daily results. Additionally, in this role you will be making a very high number of cold calls using both the phone and emails while integrating all actions, communications and data into the company CRM.
Responsibilities- Responsible for hitting established daily, weekly and monthly lead generation goals, a hard number. This is the PRIMARY function of this position. GENERATED QUALIFIED LEADS FOR OUR SALES TEAM!
- Email or call potential (prospecting) customer daily, search for the correct company contact who can use our products.
- Continual engage potential prospects to find opportunities over time.
- This is hunter role not a gatherer type role.
- Extremely detailed recording of all action's real time activities entered into the CRM.
- Other marketing responsibilities will be assigned as needed.
Requirements• Computer literature.
• Social media savvy
• Must be located near Medford, MA and be able to commute to the office.
• Not afraid to make 75 to 100 phone cold calls and 100 emails per day
