Description

The initial job duties the Employee will be expected to perform will be the following:

Vocalogic is a recognized leader in sales, consulting and on-going support of voice and data technology systems is looking for a VoIP Sales Intern to join our team.

Essential Functions

Provide exceptional customer service to our customers and work with the Vocalogic team to generate, cultivate, solicit and close sales leads.

Utilize internal Vocalogic sales methods to generate leads.
Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Vocalogic’s services and pricing structure.

Determine customer needs and propose appropriate service solutions.

Attend various local networking events to utilize them to hone networking skills as well as generate sales leads.

Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow up appointments with customer decision makers.

Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers.

Work with Vocalogic Marketing Team to develop collateral to be used during sales visits.

Handle inbound sales leads and work to close as new business.

Develop working understanding of Vocalogic’s products and services to be able to convey features and benefits proficiently to potential customers on the phone or in person via live onsite demos.

Regularly meet with Sales Supervisor to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.


Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly travels to designated locations for outside sales.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste and smell.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is an unpaid internship. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with work hours to be discussed between the CEO, President and/or the HR department. The employer reserves the right to change work hours should the position be changed to part-time or full-time, temp to perm.

Travel
The Outside Sales position will require local travel to networking events and prospective businesses. Reasonable transportation reimbursements will be provided.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

Must be seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or a related field.

1. Excellent customer communication skills, both oral and written.
2. Communicative skills to convey a situation in a professional and logical manner.
3. Must be self-motivated.
4.Must have reliable transportation.
5.The ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
6. Strong organizational, administrative & time management skills.
