This position is responsible for calling on businesses to schedule appointments for our outside sales personnel to provide quotes for our services. Calling hours are typically normal business hours between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm. Appointment setters primarily call accounts from our Salesforce application and record accurate status of every call. Accurately recording the result of each call is very important because this helps improve the accuracy of the database and ultimately helps you and everyone else with Jantize Sales Department. Objective is to make as many qualified appointments for outside sales personnel as possible. A qualified appointment is an account that needs service at least twice a month and not one that we set the appointment simply because we are offering “FREE walk-throughs”. As an appointment setter you are the first impression that a potential account hears. Thus, it is important that you are always professional and courteous.

Secondarily you may possible receive calls, which may be appointment call backs, re-schedules from sales personnel and/or general office calls. While representing Jantize, you are expected to be professional, courteous, and maintain your work in a neat and organized manner.


Jantize America appointment setters are responsible for and have authority for the following:

1. Attainment of individual and group sales objectives
2. Working in cooperation with outside sales to help achieve individual objectives
3. Analyzing, collating and presenting information concerning potential leads
4. Establishing and maintaining customer notes
5. Preparing and/or reviewing business emails with accuracy and professionalism
6. Making recommendations concerning effective appointment setting methods and techniques
7. Performing other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time by outside sales
8. Making 25+ calls per hour


Aggressive and assertive but not abrasive.
Good phone etiquette, personal sales and communication skills
High energy and motivated by appointments and not frustrated by rejection
Discipline to follow the phone script
Reliability to accurately record data in the database
Ability to think on your feet and turn objections into selling opportunities
Stong work ethic. This is a numbers game and the more calls you make, the more contacts you will make and the more appointments you will the in position to set-up. Ability to make 200+ calls a day with a positive attitude toward appointment setting is a critical success factor. Approaching each call with a positive ‘I am going to set an appointment’ attitude is what we are looking for.
Understanding our business and having the ability to address questions and concerns is vital to your success in this position. Desire to take a genuine interest in the business in an important attitude.

Skills Required: Computer, internet and computer program working knowledge. Preferred: 1-2 years of business to business outbound telemarketing, inside sales, and/or call center customer service.
