Join Asian Arts Initiative as a valuable addition to our team! You will gain experience working with staff in a professional art non-profit and the Chinatown community, and gain crucial organizational, outreach, research and database skills. Asian Arts Initiative is a community-based arts center in Philadelphia that engages artists and everyday people to create art that explores the diverse experiences of Asian Americans, addresses our social context, and imagines and effects positive community change. The development intern will primarily help with the planning of our annual benefit banquet in April. Duties will include: -Soliciting auction donations -Tracking and maintaining RSVP, auction and sponsor lists -Helping prepare printed materials (letters, save-the-date cards, invitations, etc.) -Creating and formatting emails on Constant Contact -Making follow up calls General development duties include: -Processing donations and writing thank you notes -Updating and maintaining information on our Salesforce database -Helping prepare bulk mailings -Prospect research -Preparing board minutes We are looking for a commitment through April of at least 15 hours a week with more hours the few weeks before our banquet on April 26. Start date (as late as February) and scheduled hours during the week are flexible. Our office is open 10-6pm Monday-Friday. The Curator of European Paintings, Drawings, and Sculpture is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in the preparation of exhibitions, as well as conduct research on aspects of the permanent collection. The position will involve library research, mailings, photocopying, and filing. Knowledge of French, Italian, or German is desirable.

The Hub is a collaboration of artists in Canton, OH dedicated to working together under the same roof to provide the city with access to intelligent artwork, classes, and a safe space to create. This internship will consist of hanging artwork, painting murals, wheat-pasting posters, managing PR, and creating new and vibrant facets to The Hub. We're looking for someone who is resourceful, hands on, creative, and willing to work independently. Someone who is organized would also be great since you'd be dealing with artists who have their focus elsewhere. It's an exciting place to be and we're looking forward to hearing from you.

Flexible Hours

The Hanover Township Senior Center was dedicated on April 2, 2005. It is a visible symbol of the support that this community has for its elders. A Senior Tax Referendum, "Support Our Seniors," was passed in November 2002 thanks to our seniors whose dedication and hard work incited its passage. This Referendum allowed for the construction and maintenance of a new Senior Center. Opperman Architects, Inc. and contractor, Lamp, Inc. worked along with our Supervisor, Clerk, Board of Trustees and staff to achieve a dream that benefits all adults, age 55 and over, who live in Hanover Township. The Senior Services Department offers a wide variety of advantages to the seniors who live in our Township. We offer transportation, recreational programs and trips, social services as well as many opportunities for volunteerism.

As part of the Division of Learning + Interpretation, the Interpretive Programming department is responsible for a wide range of on-site free-choice public programming at the Art Museum. These include programs for both youth and adults such as lectures, gallery experiences, performances, art-making workshops, film screenings and festivals, as well as accessibility tours for visitors with disabilities. The Interpretive Programming Intern will report to both the Coordinator and Assistant Director of Interpretive Programming and will assist with a variety of regular and special exhibition programs, with a focus on kids Summer ARTventures classes (ages 5-7 and 8-12) and Cincinnati Summer, a 10-week programming celebration of the Cincinnati Wing and Eternal Summer: The Art of Edward Henry Potthast. The intern will also develop and create content for Family Focus Guides and complete a research project tailored to his or her interests in a particular audience or area of museum education.

The Arts Social Media and Marketing Intern will be involved in an exciting range of social media and marketing responsibilities surrounding chashama's ongoing events. The Intern will be part of a small, dynamic team and will work closely with the Marketing Coordinator to assist on Social Media projects as they arise. The intern will gain first-hand experience on practicing modern Social Media tools to increase awareness of chashama's mission. Professionalism and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as the position requires interacting with the public at chashama events and online social media platforms.
