Description: This position will revolve around Automated Retail and Self Service Kiosks. The Prototype / Product Developer will be responsible for the design, development and cost estimation of new products. He or she will manage Prototype Development projects from definition stages through production release. The project scope would generally be of an intermediate and advanced nature. The Prototype Developer will interface with clients for design reviews and product development. The Prototype Developer will also work with our Development POC and Project Director on new projects in regards to costs, time lines, and customer requests. These are full-time contracting projects paid and compensated upon project completion and funded. Upon completion of project work, we can provide Proof of Experience Letter outlining projects performed and/or Letter of Recommendation. Projects will start immediately upon hiring (or on a mutually agreed upon date).

Waterwell is an acclaimed ensemble theatre company dedicated to the creation of new plays and new adaptations of classic texts. Since 2010, Waterwell has provided the Drama program to hundreds of middle and high school students at PPAS, the public Professional Performing Arts School. This innovative training connects voice and movement work with devising and scene study; artistic interpretation alongside original creation. Students also work with professional directors, designers and stage managers on rehearsal projects and productions including a commissioned New Works Lab. Waterwells program at PPAS is a truly exceptional unification of theaters professional and educational spheres. Starting in August or September, Waterwell seeks a part-time Development Intern (15-25 hours/week) to join our passionate, dedicated team. Must take initiative and demonstrate interest in arts education with superior organizational skills. Experience in development or grant writing a plus. The internship will focus on development with the option to include curriculum or production work, tailored to the interns interests. Ideal candidate will be available through December. Interns currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs will also be eligible for academic credit. Please note that the internship is unpaid at this time. We are looking for interns in the field of media and publication in the following areas: -Social Media --Web design Duties include but are not limited to: Research and develop contact lists. Suggest, write and distribute  news briefs, newsletters. Create awareness and credibility by promoting Art with a Twist and its classes. Publicize website through online sources. Place stories in the media and social media. Develop creative promotional and PR opportunities. Track media coverage. Research advertising options appropriate for different target markets. Develop contact list and collect relevant advertising materials. Assist in developing message strategy and tactics including copywriting. Make recommendations for media coverage and advertising schedule. Multi media press design intern should be energetic, organized and possess good writing and communication skills with a strong desire to learn public relations. Interns should have a firm grasp of various media including video, written word, photography, and electronic media forms. Duties include but are not limited to: -Drafting press releases to distribute to local and national media outlets. -Organizing and maintaining press kits. -Creating specialized media lists. -Advertising. -Creating unique press kits for distribution.

Department: Discovery Camp Position Summary: Discovery Camp is a summer day camp held at The Franklin Institute Science Museum. Children grades Pre-K - 8 are able to come to The Franklin Institute and participate in hands-on activities, visit exhibits and theaters, enjoy presentations by guest scientists and other professionals, and continue the science explorations they begin at the Institute on field trips related to the theme of the session. Intern will be asked to: Plan art activities that relate to each sessions theme Teach art activities to each age group Coordinate supplies relating to art projects Work in coordination with camp staff to arrange times to be in the classroom Educational Requirements: Must have an interest and background in art education. Special Skills Required: Must be able to work independently and have experience working with children grades Pre-K - 8. Schedule Requirements: Must be available at least 2 days per week M-F during the summer.
