Responsibilities include basic office tasks such as answering the phone, faxing, filing, photocopying and greeting visitors. Candidate must be proficient in word processing, spreadsheet and database application. Good reading, writing and communication skills is a must. A candidate that also has experience in video editing would also be a plus, but not required. The candidate may also be asked to help outside the office for special projects. Qualifications: No major is preferred, but candidate should have an interest in non-profit/charity work as well as a general understanding of the arts. The George Rodrigue Foundation of the Arts is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in 2009 by the George Rodrigue family. GRFA mission is to advocate and support the development of our youth through the visual arts in education. There are several programs that GRFA has designed to meet this important objective. First, GRFA hosts an annual art contest and scholarship program for high school juniors and seniors. In two years, GRFA has awarded over $80,000 in college scholarships to Louisiana high school students. Second, Georges Art Closet is an program where GRFA will donate art supplies to schools that need it the most. Third, GRFA develops lesson plans for k-12 based on the art on George Rodrigue which are designed to integrate art into the classroom.

With plantation shutters and lively colors, the exterior of 12 Gallagher Lane is reminiscent of Slonem's two restored plantation homes in Louisiana - Albania and Lakeside; where he resides when not at his loft in Manhattan. Established in 2005, is dedicated to the promotion of national and international contemporary artists and has a variety of International Art Exchanges par of BUILDING BRIDGES. ADC & BUILDING BRIDGES is bringing the imminent creativity and imagination of internaitonal art to the Los Angeles audience, with an installation of museum quality exhibitons. ADC Gallery and Building Bridges have joined to form a newly founded coalition. The coalition is a non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating an understanding among cultures worldwide through international art exhibitions , artist exchange and residency programs. Since their inception both organizations have developed a more focused tactic for cultural exchanges through art, and their efforts will be doubled with their collaboration. Organizing together exhibitions, workshops, and artists-in-residence programs with the aim of establishing exchanges among countries in order to strengthen international cultural relations and engage local communities while promoting new and emerging forms of artistic expressions. The program has an exhibition- rotating system to highlight our shared cultures and establish fresh exchanges; every member country has access to different exhibitions of Building Bridges, as well as the participation in International Art Fairs to promote their own culture and artists.
