Education Internship Assist with the development and operations of visual arts courses and community outreach programs, creation of promotional materials.

We're making a new type of entertainment using short user-submitted video clips. We need someone familiar with video editing to create several 1-2 minute videos mixing these clips in interesting ways and then publishing to our YouTube Channel.

Urbanity Dance is looking for 1-2 fall interns. Commitment would be 10-12 hours a week. College students interested in pursuing careers in Arts Administration and Arts Management are encouraged to apply. Interns will play an active, direct, hands on role in the continued growth and evolution of this new dance company, building their resume while really making a difference. Arts Administrators are expected to be knowledgeable in a variety of fields. Responsibilities will vary weekly and according to interns interests but there are opportunities to gain experience: Marketing (Integrated Marketing Communications, Vertical Marketing, Public Relations, Web Networking), Development (Donor Relations), Media and Website Design/Content (video, photo, web), Finance (managing budget: revenue, expenses), Special Event Planning and Database Management.

Under the guidance of the Public Information Officer (PIO), the Marketing & Communications Intern will manage all content on Georgia Council for the Arts Facebook page including posting photos, replies and posting status updates. In addition, this position will support the PIO in managing the email distribution database, which is the primary communication tool for Georgia Council for the Arts, contribute to media releases and support marketing efforts for key GCA initiatives. The writing and distribution of at least one media release for the interns portfolio will be completed as an end of semester project. As time and interest permits, this position will have the opportunity to support the Director on the implementation of two special initiatives being planned with the Office of the Governor The Art of Georgia: Celebrating Georgias Landscapes and People, and the Governors Awards for the Arts & Humanities.
